Camp Letter (coming home today)

Dear Parents,
The Voyagers Team will be traveling to Camp McDowell Environmental Center for camp Sept. 25-Sept. 27.  Camp McDowell offers the best hands-on environmental science instruction in a 1,140 acre outdoor classroom.  They also offer fun team building classes that work wonders for 5th grade students, and individual challenges that build students’ self-confidence. In order to help us better plan for this upcoming event, we are asking parents/guardians to please fill out the following information to let us know that your child will be planning on attending this wonderful event.  The total cost for camp is $180.00 for students, and many of you already paid the $50 deposit with your beginning of the year fees. We ask that all parents to pay through www.myschoolfees.com .  If this is a problem, please contact your classroom teacher.  Steps for My School Fees are below:
  1. Type in email and password or register if you do not have an account.
  2. From the drop down box on the left- select Brock’s Gap as the school.
  3. Choose “student fees” and find field trips listed in the box on left- on the right in a box find Camp McDowell and your Homeroom Teacher's Name- After selecting your child’s teacher- you will have the option to pay in full or use payment plan.
**When checking out you can pay by electronic check with NO FEE or by credit card (with a fee).  Visa is NOT accepted.
Below is the payment plan if you choose not to pay in full.  
  • $50 Deposit by August 29th-(you may have already paid this at registration)
  • $65 by September 5th
  • $65 by September 11th
**  We ask that all money be paid by September 15th.


NOTE:  WE WILL BE HAVING AN INFORMATIONAL MEETING ABOUT CAMP MCDOWELL ON TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 5TH, AT 6:00 P.M. IN THE CAFETERIA.
